CCEA Association Representative Council
& Its Representatives

As stated in the CCEA Bylaws, the Association Representative Council is the legislative and policy-forming body of the Clark County Education Association.

The Association Representative Council (ARC) consists of the elected officers, Executive Board, and one or more representatives elected from each school faculty according to the allocation in Article III, Section 3 of the CCEA Bylaws, the Association members of the NSEA Board of Directors, and the Association members of the NSEA Delegate Assembly. Ethnic-minority representation should be proportionate to identified ethnic-minority populations of the Association membership.

All Active members who do not have representation through a school Association Representative shall meet in groups according to their professional title and elect one Association Representative per group to represent them in the Association Representative Council.

The Association Representative Council is composed of at least one representative from each school site in the district. Building sites are allotted one representative and one alternate representative for each 25 members.

Association Representatives are elected by CCEA members at each school site in the fall of each year. If a school site needs assistance with the election of their representative, CCEA governance will assist in the election.

The Association Representative Council meets the fourth Tuesday of each month August through May, however, dates may be adjusted due to holidays.
