The CCEA Community Foundation Opportunity Grants program stimulates innovation by providing teachers and the community with resources to develop creative ideas.  The competitive grants allow teachers and community groups throughout Clark County opportunities to experiment with new materials, new approaches to learning, and new ways to bring energy and excitement into their school and neighborhood.

Opportunity Grants are awarded monthly throughout the school year (up to $500 per grant).  Emphasis is put on activities that support Clark County youth so they may access school and community resources (regardless of ability to pay) as they grow into healthy and productive adults. 

These grants provide educational and developmental opportunities for youth through school and community partnerships.  They promote older adult participation and life-long learning activities.  These grants effectively meet the needs of a changing student population and create opportunities for research and innovation fostering student achievement.
