2010 CCEA Together In Politics Drive
Get Involved. Participate. Make A Difference.
The CCEA Executive Board, in conjunction with the CCEA Government Relations Committee and the CCEA Membership Recruitment & Retention Organizing Committee, is proud to announce the 2010 CCEA TIP DRIVE! We need you to help make it a success.
CCEA members must engage in political action. We’re at a critical point in state and local funding. There are also increasing federal regulations and policies that affect you in the classroom every day. We must continue to build our political power—both in dollars and in people—to have the strength to make our voices heard in the political arena. The TIP Drive will allow us to build member engagement by raising money and mobilizing members for rapid response to legislative action, and to communicate with members about our recommended candidates and education issues.
We will raise funds for our local and state TIP funds and the NEA Fund for Children & Public Education. All contributions raised during our 2010 TIP Drive will be evenly divided between these three funds. We will be building our political power at the local, state, and national levels.
While dollars in the bank are critical in our fight to support pro-public education candidates, engaging members in political action is even more important.
The TIP Drive will kick off in May and will continue through the fall. Can’t wait to contribute to TIP? Call 733-3063!
